Bonswa from Haiti!

We had a very uneventful trip to Haiti today which is always a great thing!  Check in was a little hectic in Boston, but everyone made it onto the plane without any problems.  The flight was smooth and really quick, only 3.5 hours direct from Boston to Port-au-Prince.  We were the only flight arriving at the airport, so a pretty quick pass through Immigration, then downstairs to pick up all our bags and on through customs and outside to our good friend and driver, Belizaire.

Team Check in at Logan

On the way to see the kids!

There are many improvements to the city infrastructure we've noticed since last year…new power lines, more paved roads and there is a lot more residential reconstruction, so all good things.

We got to pop over to King's Garden to spend some time with the kids.  They were pretty shy at first, but after a few minutes we were all playing together again.

We'll go to church with the Morquette's tomorrow morning, then after lunch we'll join the kids at the Garden for their church service with lots of singing, reading of God's word and most likely a short sermonette from yours truly.  Never really fancied myself a preacher.  I'm more of a behind-the-scenes kinda guy.

Thank you for all the prayer for our team as we seek to share God's love with the people of Haiti.

Mark
